PINE CREEK STATE PARK
Located in southeastern Oklahoma, the park was established in 1979. It spans over 3,750 acres near Valliant and Fort Towson. The area is known for its picturesque landscapes including Pine Creek Lake.
The U.S Army Corps of Engineers constructed this lake during the late '60s to control flooding along Little River Basin. In addition to flood management, it also serves as a recreational spot with fishing opportunities.
In terms of amenities offered by the park include camping sites, picnic areas and boat ramps among others.
