Beautiful Lake Michigan beach park. Plenty of room and the beach is clean. Only problem is people are bringing their dogs when they come for the day.

This is our favorite Michigan State Park. The campground is wooded and mostly quiet. The beach is for campers only and is very uncrowded. Clean restrooms & showers too!

The park is close to major roads, but tucked away in the trees so you can forget city life and enjoy Lake Michigan. There is a creek that is shallow and warmer than the lake so little ones can enjoy the water in most any weather. Climbing dunes and long beach walks are wonderful. A trip to the Visitor Center is a must.
