My Father worked for the state parks . His family Homesteaded land just a few miles from Millersylvania. He built alot of picnic tables and did alot of logging of trees in that area. He was born in 1912 and his family new the Millers.

My sister and I were impressed with the courtesy, friendliness and professionalism of the concession and boat rental staff. They made us feel welcome, and we had a great time on the paddleboats!

We, my son and his daughter spent 5 days here. A really wonderful park. Quiet, shady, with swimming and fishing and boating and hiking trails.

My family and I love going to millersylvania for our family camping.We especially like the group site we can fit all 40 of us and be nice and cozy.My husbands family came here when he was young and now we bring our kids here.and I am sure the tradition will continue.

It was a great location, it was over priced, and the worst part of all there was a quiet time at 10:00 pm! If you pay $300 to have a family campout you should be able to laugh and joke and be somewhat loud to an extent! We had park rangers come to our camp and tell us we needed to quiet down, that it was quiet time, I didnt know there was a quiet time in camping! If you want to be a fuddy duddy in bed at 10 pm then maybe you should camp at home! Sorry but we wont be coming back this year. Maybe you should change your rules and regulations and possibly get more business!

My Family donated the land to the state back in 1921 and we still hold our family reunions there. Millersylvania is a well kept, fun, family perfect place to spend your summers or even winters for you 4 season campers. The lake swimming area is a great place to bask in the sun or take a dip. Millersylvania is an all around awesome place to to camp and have fun!!

January 27 A perfect place for beginner campers by otteergirl

I started camping here when my usual 1 week trips had to be reduced to 2-3 days days. Old growth forest,nice beach with covered picnic areas,swimming area (bring towels,blankets to sit on) consession stand w/ camping basics and summer food, long fishing dock, boat rentals and free launch, wonderful trails, wood purchase available and a variety of site types. Warning..book in advance, always full. Great for hot summer days!

November 26 Family Perfect!!!!! by Brittany

my dad has been taking me and my family there for 3 years now with our close family friends and we love the place. its the best camping grounds ever. i love the hiking trails the most. my youngest sister loves the swimming and my middle young sis loves to go fishing. my mom and dad love to spend there time around the fire. i was so desperate not being able to wash my hair that i cleaned it in the ice cold water faucet...but i didnt want to wait for my dad to get back with the money to pay for a shower. LOL. i even heard an owl for the first time. it was comforting...i will want to go every year now!!! my mom was mad at my dad though cause he got us a camp site that was not private. everyone could see what we were doing...and my mo hated that. but actually i was laughing about it. it still was a funny camping trip.

Stayed in campsite 70. It was not private at all. Campsite 71 was so close it felt like we were camping together. Would recommend campsite 48 or 57. We rented a canoe had fun but my 4 yr.old son did not. The girl who rented us the canoe was rude and offered no tips. Only after getting in canoe did we realize that we should of went with the paddleboat or rowboat. Once we got back to shore did we learn that tipping the canoe is very common. (we thought it might just be us) And we learned this from a young boy and not the rude lady who rented my husband and I along with my son the dangerous canoe.

AWESOME place for quality fgamily time!! have been going there almost 25 years with family and still do. We go hiking campling, fishing etc. WE LOVE IT...........

we have a 3 year old and we took him to millersylvania for his first camping trip we had so much fun the campsites could be a little bigger but other then that nothing to complain about trails to hike you can go fishing or boating one of our favorite places to go and hang out as a family
