Approaching this park, you will wonder why it is called Ledges because the land is so flat all around. Soon after you begin to walk into the wooded area, you will find that the ledges are recesses in the terrain. Ledges State Park is intimate, beautiful, and surprising.

January 1 is the park open?

We have been there several times in the past year, and each time, it has been closed. I remember it from earlier years and it is aswesome! I love to ride through the creeks that run over the rodeway!

It is such an awesome park for walking wonderful trails and the streams running thru the park are so clear. In the warm weather it is an great place to splash in the water, grill, and be totally blown away by the awesome view at this park.

We have been going to Ledges since 1993, we are partial to Nebr. Indian Caves but Ledges ranks right there. Get reservations close to a state university and race track it is always busy.
