August 18 Campground Closed

The campground at the park has been closed since August of 2011 due to Laminated Root Rot. It will not be re-opening anytime soon. The beach, day use and picnicking areas are open from 8 am until dusk. A Discover Pass ($30 - www.discoverpass.wa.gov) or a $10 daily parking permit is required. Daily parking permits can be purchased at the self-pay stations in the parking lot.

July 26 Very Nice, Good Privacy by Freedom Czar

Most of the sites have good natural privacy, the beach and day use areas have nice views of the water and Olympic Mountains. Will surely come back for another visit in the future.

September 25 great park by weekend worriors

we have gone every weekend this summer and have had fun...and will continue to go as long as weather holds up.

June 11 Our Anniversary spot by Jennsue and Joshua

My hubby and I have been coming to kopachuck since we married five years ago on 6-12 we are going today and cannot wait for the wildlife and serenity this park/camp offers!! We would hate to ever see this park be shut down... in fact we donate to their boxes extra money now... in hopes of it staying open!!!

May 7 Our Favorite Local Camping by Univ Place Families!

We go camping the first weekend that school ends to celebrate the start of summer with friends of ours. The kids love Kopachuck and the nearby water fun and exploring the woods.

Our 6 families go as a group every single year! It is a blast! Love it! We also go to cuts island for 4th of July every year. It is a great place to spend time with family!
