ICELANDIC STATE PARK
Situated on the north shore of Lake Renwick, camping, boating, swimming and fishing for northern pike and other game fish are popular activities. Within the park are the Pioneer Heritage Center and restored historic buildings, which provide a glimpse of North Dakota's homesteading heritage. An early homestead preserves North Dakota's pioneer spirit, while the Gunlogson State Nature Preserve, a 200-acre natural wooded area along the Tongue River, provides a sanctuary for plants, birds and wildlife.
