This was our families first camping trip in our new camper and it was so much fun. Park had many things for my children to do. Easy access to the town and the people in the area are so friendly. I recommend this park to everyone!

My sister and I are on a Ky State Park Tour. This was our second on our tour. All I can say is WOW! To date, this place has been our fav hands down! The rooms are HUGE, rustic and clean. The pool is olympic size, also clean and you literally can jump off your balcony into it (not recommended). The mini golf course was not bad either. There is also an old house down the road they have tours of that is worth the tour. The food, not the greatest, but unlike most KY State parks this one is NOT out in the middle of no where, but within driving distance to a very nice steak place down the road, which also makes it a PLUS+++!!!! To date, and we have been to all but 2 KY State Parks now, General Butler ranks #1 state park in KY on our list and we cannot wait to go back!
